M L Prasanna is on the road to tickle your funny bones with a highly talented gentleman actor Ramesh Actor and twenty plus stage artists in ‘Rangappa Hogbitna’? that went on the floor on Thursday morning. Confident Group Dr Roy, King Ravikumar, Mahesh Kothari and Basha are together in transforming the dreams of talented writer ML Prasanna who is making debut as director.

In the social gamut there is largely a feel that those who are on the verge of kicking buckets would wish to see closets of the family that sometime spread to second and third round of the family. There is one such wish of 70 plus years Rangappa who is a member of ‘Humor Club’. When the breath is slowing down for Rangappa all those who are known to him very close come and meet him. That becomes a ticklish situation for his son a lecturer in small town.

Based on the single line narration given by top ranking music director Hamsalekha writer Prasanna became thrilled and contacted his friend Muthu who immediately quoted the incident of his family. Then it was journey to Ramesh Aravind house for the narration. Prasanna has made around 100 scenes and all of them are hilarious. He finds the role of Ramesh Aravind in the film as very sensible. There are nearly 30 characters. Rangappa role is played by Mahabala a stage artist.

Ramesh Aravind is convinced that Prasanna can do a fine job. He has not heard the complete narration of the film. He knows even in gallows there is humor and in Shakespeare plays at the time of death there is humor. In the Indian context the relatives meeting the person on the death bed is common. In one such situation the whole screenplay moves leading to complications and comedy sequences says Ramesh Aravind who is well versed in these kinds of films.

There is no song and dance in this film but the caption of ‘Rangappa Hogbitna’ says Savina Mundhe badhukina Narthana..

Ravikumar addressing the media says he has reached the break even from the earlier film of Ramesh Aravind that is ‘Preethiyindha Ramesh’. In Bangalore at Electronic city and village background the film is set to shoot.
