Here is some good relief for television fraternity. It is a conditional approval for shooting with 10 to 12 persons around for Kannada TV serials. The Karnataka Chief Minister has given the approval after a request from Karnataka Television Association. It will be only indoor shooting. The operators have to maintain the strict rules of Corona 19 virus and the reality shows shooting has not been approved. With this nearly 6000 plus depending on earning have got a relief in TV industry.

When the lock down would open for the Kannada filmdom to work? This is the curious question that was raised today. No approval for cinema shooting, exhibition activities yet. In the form of GST film industry brings very good revenue to the government. The exhibition sectors especially the single screen and malls are badly hit with stopping of cinema screening.
