After the break up with actress wife Shruthi in the family court the humble director S Mahender marries again a village girl Yashodha at a temple in Mysore on 3rd February 2012. S Mahender married Yashodha on the ‘Bheeshma Ekadasi’ day. Let the marriage bond be like ‘Bheeshma Pratigne’.

After divorce application filed by Shruthi in 2010 May the director of eminence S Mahender was down mentally yet he directed a few films.

The love marriage of Shruthi and Mahender resulted in a daughter Gowri who is studying in KLE international school in Rajajinagar. Actress Shruthi presently on the sets of ‘Kalpana’ with Upendra in Nelamangala is living with her daughter and parents in Basaveshwaranagara.

One Ghatti Mela (the film of Shruthi and Mahender – both playing the lead roles) broke and another ‘Ghatti Mela’ was waiting for S Mahender.
