A humble and polite cinema journalist Shashidhar Chitradurga has come up with two pretty good reading cinema books – Shooting Sojiga and `Chitra-Kathe` at a recent event in Nayana Auditorium next to Ravindra Kalakshetra.

The top elements of this film books are the haunting photographs of two giant still photographers – Bhavani Lakshminarayana and Pragathi Ashwath Narayana in addition to very sweet articles from Shashidhar Chitradurga.

Firstly it was in `Face Book` page Shashidhar Chitradurga posted a few photographs and interesting moments. The audience for this was huge and that compelled him to come up with a book.

`Shooting Sojiga` with cover page of SR Puttanna Kanagal and famous cameraman BS Basavaraj and `Chitra Kathe` has photos of Dr Raj carrying Chi Udayashanker and others with two still photographers of high reputation.

The photographs explains the behind screen pains, pleasures and unforgettable moments. For the song ‘Yaare Koogadali…the buffalo episode explains the situations faced by film makers. Have you seen Dr Rajakumar in Hanuman get up, then you have to pick this useful book with very interesting anecdotes.

In Shooting Sojiga 65 artists and technicians have 265 interesting incidents. This book was released by veteran actress MN Lakshmi Devi and Ranga Karmi SK Varadaraj. The book Chitra Kathe’ was released by actress of yesteryears B Jaya and writer Chandrasekhara Aluru.

Bhavani Lakshminarayana and Pragathi Ashwath Narayan were also present at the event in Nayana Auditorium.

Another beauty of the two book release event was `Jogi Pranaya`play based on Gnanapith Award winning writer Dr Masthi Venkatesha Iyengar two short stories play by theatre actor and director Gomaradahalli Manjunath mono acting.
