You have heard of artists going to adjacent states. It is rare to find technicians making foray in to other languages. Now young and talented director Shivaprabhu is making debut as director.

The bilingual of Shivaprabhu in Kannada and Telugu stars the big name in Telugu cinema industry Taraka Rathna. Taraka Rathna is grandson of NTR.

In Kannada Yashas Soorya does what Taraka Rathna does in Telugu. Apparently the film name is ‘Amrutha Varshini’ – the super hit film of 1998 in Kannada.

This Amrutha Varshini is family oriented and Taraka Rathna agreed for the script immediately. It is a happy news in the career of Shivaprabhu.

Shivaprabhu starting his career as assistant director in the film Circle Inspector in 1996 worked in the same capacity for Mangala Suthra, Laali, Jenina Hole, Nishyabda, Premothsava, nanenu Madlilla, Nan Hedthi Chennagiddaale, Sri Manjunatha.

He turned independent director from O Priyathama writing story screenplay and dialogue for the film. Pallavi Illada Charana and Kaala Bhairava are his other movies in Kannada as director.
