The prominent news transmitting organization in the last four decades Sri Raghavendra Chitravani – Sudheendra Venkatesh alias D G Venkatesh has set a record today and won an award yesterday.

On Thursday Sudheendra Venkatesh was honored with ‘Kannada Sevarathna’ by Bengaluru Nagara Jilla Kannada Sahitya Parishat at Dr Raj Kala Bhavan in Kalavidhara Sangha after screening of ‘Mookajjiya Kanasugalu’.

DG Venkatesh was honored with turban, shawl, garland, a trophy, and memento as part of the felicitation in the presence of famous poet and thinker Siddalingaiah. Mayanna head of BJNKSP organized the event and honored 11 others on this occasion. The honor included a felicitation to senior journalist BN Subramanya.

As the record set by Sri Raghavendra Chitravani is focused, it is release of 8 out of 10 films that received the services of this prestigious organization.

It is another record for 29^th November as 45 films are releasing in one day in Bengaluru, In that 10 are Kannada films.

The films that received services of Sri Raghavendra Chitravani (of DG Venkatesh, DS Sunil and DG Vasu) are – Damayanthi, Mookajjiya Kanasugalu, Mundina Nildaana, Brahmachari, Rana Hedi, Reveal, Kiru Minkanaja, Margaret Kannada films.

Sri Raghavendra Chitravani in the last 40 plus years has done PRO work for more than 1750 Kannada films.
