The two years dream of producer Soorappa Babu has materialized in the first step with the launch of ‘Prithvi’ - the ultimate power – Kannada film on last Thursday at Ulsoor Someshwara Temple in Bangalore. This is the favorite spot of Soorappa Babu. He is producing the film with NS Rajakumar a closet of Dr.Rajakumar family.

This one ‘Prithvi’ will be different from the 13 films of the power star and not even a frame you would find of other films promises Soorappa Babu who has produced some of the top films in Kannada film industry.

According to Puneeth Rajakumar who attended the muhurut with his wife Ashwini and brothers Shivarajakumar and Raghavendra Rajakumar the concept narrated by director Jacob Verghese is interesting one. Puneeth met the director Jacob Verghese after watching the songs of his film ‘Savaari’. The one line was impressive and after fifteen days he narrated the script that is so beautiful admitted Puneeth Rajakumar speaking to media persons over telephone on that day. Parvathi is already established actress and I am happy to work with Parvathi said Puneeth Rajakumar.

Parvathi Menon the beautiful and talented actress feels very happy with the script and narration. I have not seen in any other film this type of narration she says firmly. I am in a good film and with good role and space is what made me to accept she said. I have been told not to divulge anything about the film she stated. The vision of the director and product is what matters for me in accepting the role she added.

Director Jacob Verghese says his dream of directing a big star Puneeth Rajakumar is fulfilling. Keeping in mind the image and strength of Puneeth Rajakumar and meeting him just once he has done the story for the film. I have even accepted the small changes suggested by Parvathi whom I selected after watching ‘Poo’ Tamil film. The film will be in mass style and I don’t see any differences in art and commercial. I only look at making a decent film which most of the directors in Kannada are not doing he pointed. This will be very honest attempt he promises.

NS Rajakumar another producer of the film ‘Prithvi’ said he is shooting for the film only in India. In Salem and Vizag the shoot will be held and all requirements will be provided for the film he added.

Srinivasamurthy, Kokkin, John Vijay, Ramesh Bhat, Avinash and others are in the cast. In 80 days the shoot will be completed for ‘Prithvi’.

Puneeth Rajakumar was singing Hey Paru…Hele paru…in his recent release ‘Raj The Showman’. He is now having Parvathi name heroine for ‘Prithvi’.
