The cynosure of the Cinema and TV Directory 20th year publication by MG Lingaraj – 8th edition in the series was of course Upendra for his hurricane speech. The sweet looking Haripriya was also on stage with other guests for the release of the directory.

In his address super star Upendra mentioned that Vidhana Soudha should be made as ‘University’. The rulers should not sit at Vidhana Soudha and they should work where people are located. This is my dream in case I become a chief minister of this state.

Lingaraj should not stop his work on Cinema and TV Directory. He should evolve a website of it and continue. I had released the first edition of this and now releasing the 8th edition. Where there is end, there will be beginning he felt.

Dr Richard Castellino Tulu cinema ‘Badi’ came to memory of Haripriya and the director was also on the dais. This kind of book is essential for good collection of data and it is the route to meet the people she pointed.

Veteran director SKBhagwan, senior journalist Ganesh Kasargod, Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Om Saiprakash, Ba Ma Harish, Vaishnavi and others were present on the dais.
