The tall and handsome actor Vijay Soorya of popular television serials and six Kannada films in the last one decade got recognition for his good qualities but he was expecting a breakthrough. Such a role did not come in his way. This ‘Veera Putra’ is one such role – I have three shades to perform, says the smiling actor. A cake was cut and on the eve of his happy birthday (7^th of September) the teaser with some stunning elements was screened at Renukamba digital theatre on 5^th of September – teacher’s day.

Vijay Soorya gave a neat and tidy performance in his last film ‘Ishta Kamya’. He is now in a rugged role with three shades – two of his shades were revealed in the teaser well cut and nicely prepared for ‘Veera Putra’.  Vijay Soorya says waiting for so long to get this role is appropriate. I am putting all my experience for this film to make it a commercial entertainer. ‘Agni Saakshi’ feel is found in this film script. We have prepared this teaser in just one day and the preparation of Dr Devaraj was so fine, he adds.

This is the third film for producer Guru Bandi (Supplementary and Dheera Samrat other two films) in Tanvi Productions. He is impressed with the real life incident happened in Gulbarga well prepared by director Dr Devaraj.

The film in a nutshell is a nexus between Allopathy and Ayurveda medicine racket. Dr Devaraj a bio chemistry professor has done research work. He is also bringing in father and son bondage in the film.

Rakesh hero of two films Supplementary and Dheera Samrat is in another important role. Raghav Subhash is scoring music for five songs. Nagendra Urs is editor of the film. Sagar is the dance director.
