The children film with good home work by debutant director Puneek Shetty for producer Dafni Neethu D Souza and executive producer Dickson Jackie D Souza is all set to release on April 12. Tarakarama distributors are releasing this ‘Virupaa’ – meaning Vincent, Rustum and Paaksha!

Set in the background of Hampi the tourist spot the film with a blind Shayal Gomes, dumb and deaf Charan and youth Vishwanath with cute praapthi are in prominent roles. Manjunath a real life lecturer in a college is also in a prominent role. Pradeep Malluru scored music, Ananth Raj Urs worked behind camera, sync sound was produced by Mahaveer Sabbannavara, Avinash edited this film.

On the pre release day Kali Durgappa and Durgaprasad on an Australia tribal instrument didjeridoo and a Jambe musical instrument performed for a few minutes. These instruments are used in the film and the father and son combination often play at the historic place Hampi as livelihood.

Producer Dafni for the first time addressing the media said it has been 2 years dream. I had fear but my husband supported as backbone she added.

Director Puneek Shetty recalled how he got the children to perform for the film.
