Yamadharama has opened an account in 2012 in Kannada filmdom. Actor of 150 films plus Karibasavaiah who always called him as ‘Karibevu’ of Kannada cinema passed away after four days of struggle. He met with an accident on 31st January night. He was severely injured in the spinal cord. The call came for his last breath today afternoon around 2.45 pm at Pristine Hospital.

Boothayi Makkalu, Yaarge Saluthe Sambala, Thaayi, Police Story 2, Janapada, Magic Ajji, Right Adhre, Durgi, Galate Aliyandru, Ulta Pulta, Parichaya, Crazy Kutumba, Holi, Nooru Janmaku, Aithalakkadi, Ullasa Utsaha, Sri Moksha, 5 Idiots and several others have given him a good standing in the Kannada cinema industry as a character artist.

Karibasavaiah was in distress since 2009 when his married daughter Radha committed suicide in her residence in Mahalakshmi layout. A stage actor, television and cinema actor Karibasavaiah is known for natural performance.
