When an imported heroine is offered Rs.40 lakhs (plus meeting other expenses) for a top ranking hero of Kannada film why not I demand my regular payment of Rs.30 lakhs asks Ramya after deciding not to work for Prakash Raj’s ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ Kannada film a remake of ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ and ‘Akashavantham’. Ramya took part in the lighting the lamp ceremony of the film muhurut recently for the film at KSLTA club.
‘I was offered Rs.16 lakhs as remuneration for ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ which I declined to accept disclosed Ramya talking to www.chitratara.com editor R Manohar over telephone on Tuesday evening. Even Rajesh Nataranga and associated director are not working for this film it is learnt from sources.

Ramya was supposed to take part in ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ shooting from 10th of December 2009. She was contacted by Rockline Venkatesh and Prakash Raj as a senior industry person did not talk on this matter once stated Ramya in her reaction on her coming out from the film.
