Dr Ambareesh memorial work in full swing

The work on the Dr Ambareesh memorial at the Sri Kanteerava Studios is in full swing. Earth excavation work is underway for some of the structures planned in the memorial. A museum, a statue of Dr Ambareesh and tower are part of the overall complex.

A blueprint of the complex was approved last year. The foundation stone was laid on February 27 this year. The State Government has released an initial amount of Rs 5 crore for the project. The total budget is expected to be Rs 12 crores.

An area of 1 acre 34 guntas of land in the Studio complex has been set aside for the memorial which is named Dr Ambareesh Punya Bhoomi.
