Looked like the stars were down at the premiere of Suryakaanthi ….
The premiere of the much awaited movie “Suryakaanthi” proved to be an eventful evening in the presence of who’s who of Sandalwood. The premiere was hosted by Radio Mirchi – 98.3 FM which took place at PVR Cinemas today.
The successful Aa Dinagalu team have geared up to create yet another mark in Sandalwood with Suryakaanthi. The movie has already been receiving rave pre-reviews and is all set entertain the Kannada audience this Sankranthi as it hits the screens on January 14th. The movie is an action love story directed by Chaitanya & story by Agni Sridhar of Aa Dinagalu fame. The lead star cast includes: Chetan & Regina – a new introduction to Sandalwood.
Speaking about the movie one of the Sandalwood actor said, “Movie is excellect, it’s a must watch for the season! The picturesque location, music and action sequences are the highlight of the movie. Wish Chaitanya and his team lots of luck”.
Speaking on the occasion, Saraswathi Anand – Marketing Head, Radio Mirchi – Bengaluru said, “Tie-up with the movie has been great for us. Suryakaanthi has been generating some good responses with listeners, we wish the team all the very best! Hope the movie turns out to be the biggest blockbuster of the year”.
Chetan, who had a memorable debut as a loverboy in 'Aa Dinagalu' was excited about his new role of an assassin in 'Suryakanthi'. Talking about his new role, he said “This movie has given me a stage to portray and bring out my best. And it being a different genre of film the audience will get to see me in a different role which I hope they will like it, we are just crossing our fingers”.
