Chakreshwari Combines a film by icon of Kannada cinema Dr.Rajakumar home banner ‘Vamshi’ has developed the different approach to market the film and create awareness among the people of Bangalore city.
‘Vamshi’ vinyl posters on five Suvarna BMTC buses placed on the three sides (630 Sq ft) would travel from Nandini Layout, KR Puram, Jayanagar and Electronic city and reach the Majestic bus terminus. Another route is not yet decided says Mr Basavaraj who has running license of 21 buses in his contract with BMTC. The first such Suvarna BMTC containing ‘Vamshi’ posters was flagged off by power star Puneeth Rajakumar the hero of the film and his elder brother Raghavendra Rajakumar at Nandini Layout Bus terminus around 12 noon on Sunday morning. The Suvarna BMTC bus bearing route No.80A traveled from Nandini Layout to Majestic bus station once it was inaugurated.
BMTC Suvarna the latest on the road with luxury seats inside is charging Rs.2 lakhs per month for the publicity purposes of ‘Vamshi’. The film ‘Vamshi’ a mother and son sentiment cinema is slated for release on 2nd of October all over Karnataka.
Raghavendra Rajakumar after inaugurating the first bus containing ‘Vamshi’ vinyl posters thanked Mr Manjunath and fans of Puneeth Rajakumar for developing such an idea to promote the film.
From the days of making pamphlets, going in bullock carts, auto rickshaws the methodology has changed. What ever be the way of drawing crowd the film should succeed is the ultimate goal.
