In the cans for sometime the film ‘Master’ that later became ‘School Master’ has gained strength with the sudden demise of the ‘Ustaad’ of Kannada cinema Dr Vishnuvardhana. The film is all set for release on 22nd of January and producer CR Manohar a rose flower merchant producer of Orata I Love You, Janumadha Gelathi and Telugu ‘Mahatma’ starring Srikanth is finding time from his busy political schedule to release the audio of ‘School Master’ at Le Meredian on Sunday evening.
As usual HD Kumaraswmay former chief minister did not turn up but Member of Parliament his lieutenant Cheluvarayaswamy graced the occasion.
All the important persons on dais – Dr Jayamala, Ramesh Aravind, Puneeth Rajakumar, Sa Ra Govindu, SV Rajendra Singh Babu, K Shivaramu, K Manju, Srinivasamurthy, Premkumar, Prakash, B Ramamurthy plus producer CR Manohar expressed grief and good qualities of Dr Vishnuvardhana.
It was almost unanimous decision not to release any other film on the day of release of ‘School Master’ in Karnataka theatres. The idea was floated by SaRa Govindu.
K Manju stating Dr Vishnuvardhana came as student in ‘Nagarahavu’ and went as ‘Master’ was very well thought. Veteran Srinivasamurthy sing the song he sung just a day ago Kannu Muchchuva Munna Kannu thereyiranna….was very meaningful on the occasion.
A beautiful portrait of Dr Vishnuvardhana on the one side was given floral tribute or rather rose flower petal tribute because producer CR Manohar is a rose merchant.
Two songs of the film ‘School Master’ were screened. Vishnuji again and again haunt everyone on that evening from his charismatic looks.
