A film from television journalist Ravi Sasanur ‘Lakshya’ with the backdrop of Uttar Karnataka is hitting the silver screen on 18th of this month and a day later in Bengaluru and other centers. In fact on 14th of November ‘Lakshya’ premiere show is at Belagavi says director Ravi Sasanur. The film trailer was released at SRV Theater in Malleswaram on Tuesday afternoon. Pawan Wodeyar, well-known director of Kannada films graced the trailer release event and blessed the team.

It is a dream picture based on four incidents that happened in real life. Author of two books ‘Nan Celebrity Journey’ and ‘Mahanadi’ Ravi Sasanur had picked the social issues that connect everyone. At the censor time, the main producer backed out and Sudhir Devendra Hulloli and Anand Shivakumar took over the project. This film shot extensively in northern Karnataka, Gokak falls shown differently.  The Maharashtra belt (that is the Kittur Karnataka belt now) shot for this film. Corruption is the main subject. In places like Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan every month one incident happens that is what is shown in the film, says Ravi Sasanur.

Shivakumar editor in the last 15 years in small screens handling over 3000 episodes has written story, screenplay and done editing.

Santosh Raj Zavare of Moodalamane and 25 mega television serials and actor of short film Phalitamsha is in key roles. It is different and what happens when one falls behind money is shown connecting the parents emotions he says.

Nithin Advi, a very active youth, is in PK role, a wayward youth in the film hoping for best results. Veteran actress Malathisri is the one who told producer Sudhir Devendra Hulloli to continue with this film and Shivu and Ravi are like my children who were upset at the corona onslaught regained confidence now.

The main producer today of ‘Lakshya’ Sudhir Devendra Hulloli, of Gokak taluk says the people of Northern Karnataka believe the people and carry on promotions with affection. He quoted a few examples that showed how sincere the people in Northern Karnataka were. It is Bayasade Banda Bhagya for me he adds and already 30000 tickets are booked to watch this film. Anand Shivayogappa Kolaki is co-producer of this film.

Juevin Singh is music composer for his third film hails from Kerala. He had done four songs for this film ‘Lakshya’.

Akshara Films Ramesh is the distributor of this film. Anandu Chandrasabu is cinematographer. Veteran actor Ramakrishna, Sathyanath, Baby Divya, Dhanash Shetty, Ardhya, Baby Gamana, Mysuru Shivakumar, Sai Yashaswini, Chandrasekhar, Satyanath and others are in the cast.
