The brilliant writer, director and actor S Mohan is now aiming for a trilingual film ‘Male Nilluvavaregu’ in Kannada and that is his college day’s ambition of ‘Fair Play’ drama converted to suit the silver screen.
In a recent chat at Green House Restaurant Mohan spoke on various things – his fear of censor trouble to Narasimha, new ambition and present assignment all came up.
· The multi lingual project Mohan explained it to Prakash Raj and the economic reasons kept the project in cold storage.
· It is Male Nilluvavaregu title. Like how Mohan is clearing the bank Car loan is rehashing this subject since 12 years.
· The film happens in the rain. The film stops only when rain stops. I have decided to give umbrella to the media persons for the muhurut so that they do not get drenched.
· There will be artificial and natural rain in the film.
· Mohan thought of Arjun Sarja as common hero for all languages with Sharath Kumar and Devaraj. He has staged 60 shows of this play. There is no song and no action but it will stunt everyone for sure is the confidence of Mohan.
· Mohan completed the left out comedy track for ‘Narasimha’ at Channapatna recently. It was on V Ravichandran, Sadhu Kokila and RG Vijayasarathy.
· Looking at the piled up non vegetarian food on the table RG Vijayasarathy the senior colleague also a family actor and analyst went missing at the lunch table. After some time it was ascertained that RGV went to Abbur Math of Sri Brahmanya Thirtha Swamiji for lunch in the traditional style. He returned back very satisfying to the sets.
· There is a small role for RGV that is excellent says director of Narasimha Mohan.
· For Narasimha director Mohan has prepared one minute 20 seconds of trailer to go with ‘Only Vishnuvardhana’ in 120 theatres. MN Kumar is the producer of Narasimha and it is right thought now says Mohan. His expectation is that at least 70 percent of the audience would see the trailer of ‘Narasimha’. It will help in the initials.
· V Ravichandran dubbed for ‘Narasimha’ in six hours. Three hours a day.
· Now the typical problem for Mohan is that Regional censor board might object to Kaddhu Muchchi song in ‘Narasimha’.
· This song is very important. All ongoing political developments are part of this film song. Without that there will be a big miss for the film. I might take strong steps to retain this song says Mohan.
· As of now Mohan ‘Manjunatha BA LLB’ is ready to go on the floor from December 14.
