The debutant from adjacent Andhra Pradesh Vijayakumar Konda has given a powerful action packed image of Nikhil Kumaraswamy and at the same time has unleashed a touching love story that haunts family audiences besides the lovers.
Rider is a feel good cinema because even the bad guy like Garuda Ram holding pistol in his hand gives up because it is a ‘Love Story’ of Chinnu alias Sowmya and Kitty alias Soorya – played by Kashmira Paradesi and Nikhil Kumaraswamy.
There are many guessing moments, you hold your breath while watching the film, Oh…no they should meet as easily as possible you would feel but destiny has something else. The signature is what makes it most pertinent in this film.
Vijaya Kumar Konda from Telugu films to Kannada has understood the pulse of regular cinema lovers. He has picked the age-old theme of lost and found. In his presentation he gives a glory that is added by producers and charismatic because of the handsome hunk Nikhil Kumaraswamy and lovable lady Kashmira Pardesi.
The younger days of Chinnu and Kitty in the orphan house are interesting in the pack of the director. Chinnu and Kitty are adopted by two different families and as they grow they are recognized as Sowmya and Soorya (Kashmira Pardesi and Nikhil Kumaraswamy).
Sowmya grows up in an aristocratic family and she is stinking rich. Soorya is from a middle class family, and basketball is his niche. After 14 years both live in the same city. Sowmya has fond memories of her childhood like how Soorya is dreaming of his childhood.
Do they meet up? You would see both conversing with each other as Soorya works in sports quota in the office headed by Sowmya. Yet they do not meet because of lack of evidence.
How do they finally meet, what happens to the career in basketball of Soorya? All these things you have to watch on silver screen.
It is made perfectly for the image of Nikhil Kumaraswamy and Kashmira Paradesi looks like Kashmir Apple also looks like Dr Jayalalitha in her younger days. Both make solid effort in their roles.
The veteran actors Achyuth Kumar, Shobaraj, Rajesh Nataranga come up with a cakewalk in their roles. Comedy placement of Chikkanna, KR Pete is fine. Sampada is having good fortune.
Arjun Janya`s three songs are worth hearing again and again! One in the childhood backdrop, Dava Dava….song for Nikhil Kumaraswamy and Mellane Berala Besadu….a captivating duet song set in the rich locations.
Sreesh Kuduvalli in his camera has done wonders especially while capturing the action portions in the film. There are some scintillating action lovers.
This is a family pack that finally says ‘Love is Divine’. Action lovers get a good treat from this film too.
