Money can buy you a fine dog, but only love can make him wag his tail." "Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole." "A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself." Some of the read quotations come to mind when we watch ‘777 Charlie’ Kannada film.

PARAMVAH studio 777Charlie is Vaare Vaah Kannada film because of various vivacious elements in it. It is just not an emotional journey of Charlie (this name picked from Charlie Chaplin inspiration) and Dharma. It is something beyond that the present day`s youth should take a note of commitment, which is very important in life. Of course, for all pet lovers this is a necessary watch and those who hate pets realize and may adopt a pet or stop pelting stones at street dogs.

Kiran Raj in his first protracted film of 173 minutes duration has done tremendous work. There is no doubt about it. However, content elaboration at a few places could have been avoided. There are half a dozen places he could have pruned the puppy life.

The film is a multidimensional cinema. The life of Dharma,  his Chinmayi Colony in Mysuru,  his work place of a factory,  people around him hating him, his brief hateness to pets and later devoting his life for happiness of Charlie....all come in various places and especially when the journey of Charlie and Dharma moves on the film is touching very much.

Kiran Raj Keeping two important aspects of this film had the chance of making a sequel. Anyhow he has the next generation of Charlie.

The movement of the film to nook and corner especially in the north,  reaching the snow fall,  rescuing the 150 dogs by Dharma, the military later helping put Dharma to finish his task you feel relieved...oh so many developments move out on screen and touch your heart.

For Rakshit Shetty it has been a lifetime role. The actor with Nayaki is normal, the actor with Naayi is something special. You need to grow in your thoughts to spread your wings. That is what he has done. He does not even touch the heroine in this film...no romance, it is only charged up performance throughout. Being tough, he knows to hand over Cadbury chocolate.

Sangeetha Sringeri has utilized the chance provided with extreme confidence. Picking a role like this for a start up actress shows her goals are global.

You feel moved with the performance of HG Somashekhar Rao and Bhargavi Narayan...unfortunately both are not living today. Baby Sharvari is so cute and she is here to stay for a long.

Raj B Shetty and Abhijit Mahesh combination gives a big relief via comedy for the film. The portions by Bobby Simha and Rakshit Shetty is so neat and tidy. The water issue handled here is a sudden surprise.

The cinematography of Aravind Kashyap and music by Nobin Paul are the other two masterpieces of this film. With a dog, it is a herculean task to capture the moments. At least for this aspect Aravind Kashyap deserves applause via awards.

Nobin Paul has given music that deserves for an Indian cinema. His songs meet the audience across India and the level of background score is top class.

This is a film that should be compulsorily in your entertainment list. Magnificent effort and magnificent in making.
