Doodhpeda Diganth a very popular actor of Kannada cinema is injured in the neck after a somersault practice at Goa on Monday. Diganth is on a holiday tour with his wife, well known actress Aindrita Ray. In the Goa beachside he was doing somersaults, it is learnt.

The severity of injury to the neck forced the family members to shift Diganth to Bengaluru Manipal hospital. The operation is conducted and more about his health will be known soon.

Diganth met with a serious accident to his right eye in a Hindi film ‘Ticket to Bollywood’ shooting. The counterpart was supported to throw a sharp knife at him and it entered the right eye of Diganth. A series of operations to his right eye did not bring the original position to him.

According to Diganth`s father there is no severity to the spinal cord. Diganth slipped while working out. He is speaking to visitors, he said.
