The first prominent person from the director fraternity of Kannada cinema to close his chapter of life on earth at the young age of 47 years is Pradeep Raj. After battling a life from diabetes Pradeep Raj succumbed to death in his hometown Pondicherry.

An intelligent and experienced director of films like Rocking star Yash starring Kirataka, Bengaluru 560023 starring JK, Dhruv, Chandan Kumar, Kichcha Sudeep in guest role with Ragini Dwivedi, Abhinaya in Kichchu, Golden star starring Mr 420, Anjada Gandu of Ninasam Satish, Rajanikantha of Dhuniya Vijay are his popular films in Kannada.

Acute diabetes bothered him, Corona time he suffered collapse of organs and finally breathed last on Thursday morning. He leaves behind wife and two sons.

Pradeep Raj thought of ‘Kirataaka 2’ and the calculations of Rocking star Yash changed after the KGF mega film. Pradeep Raj had to give up this film.
