The trials and tribulations of an assistant director in the cinema industry packed with various humor elements and some of them picked from real life in ‘Harikathe Alla Girikathe’ featuring Rishab Shetty, Rachana Inder, Tapaswini and others hitting silver screen on June 23 – Thursday from Sandesh Combines.

A new trailer of the film was released at the pre-release meet in the presence of producer Sandesh and team members at Renukamba Digital Theater on Tuesday afternoon. Of course the trailer has very good speed and Pramod Shetty as cop slapping Rishab Shetty is part of it.

This is the film made at the second lockdown. Entire shoot was held at Mysuru and it is a laugh riot for the audience after one mega action KGF 2 and an emotional 777 Charlie says Rishab Shetty. There is no heroism. In fact it is Girikrishna who wrote the story and duo Karan Ananth of Katha Sangama (short film) and Anirudh Mahesh developed it. We have given credit for Giri but his health issue made us look for alternatives, says Rishab Shetty. For Rishab Shetty the days of his stint as assistant in AMR Ramesh team and Ganda Hendathi and a Boy Friend film came to his mind in the role of an assistant director. It is about a middle class youth who has dreams and this character is crazy, he says.

Rachana Inder popular for her lines Henge Navu in Love Mocktail is an aspiring actor in the role of Girija. Tapaswini is an MLA daughter and has some suspense.

Pragathi Shetty, wife of Rishab Shetty, is in her tenth film as costume designer. Actor and powerful orator Dinesh Mangaluru facing health issues, came to explain his satisfaction for being a part of the film. He is Jokumaraswamy, a politician henchman in the film.

Producer Sandesh is keeping strong hope on the success of the film because it connects the cinema industry very much.

Vasuki Vybhav is music composer of five songs. Girikrishna penned the story for this film, Trilok Trivikrama, Yogaraj Bhat and others contributed songs. Honnavalli Krihna, Pramod Shetty and others are in the cast. Ranganath and Chandrasekhar cinematography and Bharat-Pradeep editing part of the technical team.
