A big relief on the face of producer and journalist colleague Sanathkumar on the success of his maiden film ‘Eddelu Manjunatha’. The speed of two weeks collection continues in the third week he has a wonder ‘Varamahalakshmi’ festival!

True in the third week I will be safe of my budget of over Rs.2 crores on the project. This is a team effort I agree says Sanathkumar. In Bangalore, Mysore the collection is extraordinary. Out of 76 films released so far in the year only three have clicked and in the last eight months at Aparna theatre in busy Gandhinagar area the houseful board was not seen. The exhibitor has searched for the board in his office cleaned it and put it on the theatre gate everyday every show from the starting day of ‘Eddelu Manjunatha’ Sanathkumar the proud son of veteran journalist B.V.Vaikunta Raju explained brimming with happiness.

Recalling the difficult days of only Rs.64 when he wanted Rs.6 lakhs 40000 intelligent Sanathkumar said he is happy because professional colleagues in the media have not let him down. I have only one worry of delay nothing else he clarified when questioned why director, music director and actress Yagna Shetty did not turn up for this occasion.

Sanathkumar is contemplating on release of ‘Eddelu Manjunatha’ in USA, United Arab Emeritus and Australia!
