Patil from Police to Politics – from offering salute to taking salute in his journey of professional and personal life has finally set his goals straight in ‘Salute’ that went on the floor on last Friday at Sri Dharmagiri Manjunatha Temple.

Playing lead in ‘Salute’ a home production film Patil is going through the pages of his own life story. He is not attacking anyone, not suggesting anything but only trying to set up the condition of the society we live in better way and system. I am not pointing to any individual in the political or police department I am straight from my life sketch.

Starting from Hindalga jail in Belgaum where he was one of the 190 plus arrested persons during the farmer community riot. He stayed in the prison for nine days and then he became a police officer stayed for a long time, became an actor from Nishkarsha and now a politician – MLA of the Congress I party.

Ashok Kheni the NICE proprietor is playing the chief minister, financier KV Nageshkumar after his role in Bal Nan Maga is acting in this film. HT Sangliana the super cop of his period in police department has been urged to play the role of Police commissioner for this film. Patil in this film reaches to the spot of Home Minister as an independent MLA. With just one seat he makes the move and calls the shots.

In one schedule of 40 days he is shooting in Bangalore, Hindalgar Jail, Belgau, Hirekerur, Hubli and other places. No one can value the salute and it is an acceptance signal says Patil.

Vijay Kaundinya is playing the Muslim terrorist life and a message is sent across from this role. Sai Karthik is the music director. Ravi Verma and Kaurava Venkatesh are the stunt directors.
