AMR Ramesh of ‘Cyanide’ film fame is jumping in joy to take up a film on LTTE supreme Prabhakaran! Come November 27 the director AMR Ramesh will be getting the clue whether Prabhakaran is alive or dead he will give final shape to his film. But before that he is meeting the producers in Malaysia for the English and Tamil version film on Prabhakaran. In case he finds Prabhakaran dead on that day he will decide on the climax of Prabhakaran son taking the regime of LTTE.

Why November 27? It is on this Mahaveerar Naal at Kilnochi near Vanni headquarters– the martyr’s day LTTE Prabhakaran gives a speech. From the last 20 years he has not missed giving speech. There is a strong belief that LTTE Prabhakaran is not dead and he will come on that day to address. In case he does not address or send across the speech copy then it is understood he is not living. This is the thought in the LTTE followers.

Whether Prabhakaran is dead or alive - It is 50:50 beliefs. Secondly ‘Anna’ Prabhakaran need not have to carry the ID card that was found at the time of his death and secondly the cyanide is not found around his neck. Such clues are keeping hopes that he will come on 27th of November without fail.

Meanwhile for AMR Ramesh the information is piling up from all places to take up this 7 crores film in which he will be investing 25 percent for the movie on LTTE Prabhakaran.

Looking the face of AMR Ramesh many have advised him to play the title role. The best face selected by people in the internet is Malayalam actor Mohan Lal. But Mohan Lal has sent across the message that he will be doing the film only when it is Manirathnam or Ram Gopal Verma takes up the film. There some who opt for Prakash Raj but AMR Ramesh wants a new personality because the image actor would not carry the film. It is only the name of Prabhakaran that would carry the cinema says Ramesh.

This film will be on the lines of ‘Omar Mukthar’. Santosh assistant to Manigannan the ace cameraman is behind the camera and Sandeep Chowta will be scoring the music.

It may be recalled that AMR Ramesh was invited by Tamil Selvan and Cheran on phone to meet LTTE Prabhakaran and stay with him for 15 days. This is after they saw the film ‘Cyanide’. Ramesh was assured of invitation via Srilanka Minister when the peace talks were going on between Srilanka and LTTE.

My subject on the life of LTTE Prabhakaran will be having the plus and minus. What is more interesting is the claim of AMR Ramesh – ‘Girish Kasaravalli says that I should make a film on General Musharaff of Pakistan.

While talking to a few media friends AMR Ramesh repented for making a film like ‘Minchina Ota’ and challenged Muralidhar Halappa to do one cinema and then join his company!
