One of the box office super hit films of Dr Rajakumar and Dr B Saroja Devi released 44 years ago is coming with 7.1 technology in the first week of December in over 150 screens says distributor Muniraj who acquired rights from producer of the film well known actor, director and producer Dwarakish.

The tear jerker with lessons to the family members in ‘Bhagyavantharu’ was received well in those days and it is sure to repeat the show again.

The debutant director of this film is HR Bhargava a director of 50 films in the career of 50 years. I was an associate for 14 Dr Rajakumar films, when Dwarakish suggested my name for direction, Dr Rajakumar agreed that my debut is really a big fortune opening in my life, says Bhargava, a man with simplicity, honesty and loyalty. When we used to narrate situations Dr Rajakumar used to see my face and he was known for ‘Parakaya Pravesha’. I even today remember the grandeur created by producer Dwarakish. One huge floor for the bedroom scene of climax and Parvathi Parameshwara photo at the backdrop, that is Aparoopa and Adbutha indeed. I always thank Dwarakish for such an atmosphere. No doubt, my ‘Bhagya’ also opened from this film. Let this bring many more fortunes for Muniraju. He has brought a flat from his five films of Dr Rajakumar yesteryears re-releases mentioned by Bhargava.

Muniraju is releasing the fifth film of Dr Rajakumar again. He started with Operation Diamond Rocket then Nanobba Kalla, Raja Nanna Raja and Dari Tappida Maga. He entered Vajreshwari combines and worked for 18 years. When he saw MGR Adimai Penn release at Nataraja theatre and noticed huge demand for it, he decided to bring in re-release of Dr Rajakumar films. He claims that he had made Rs.88 laks from Operation Diamond Rocket, Kapali theater gave him Rs.22 lakhs share he says. 5 PCs were deployed from Upparpet Police station for ‘Nanobba Kalla’ release, he says.

Prasanna Kumar, Dayanand, Raviraj associate director, Manjunath of Shivamogga and Om Satish were present at the media briefing of this re-release film.

In November 2021 Bhagyavantharu is releasing in over 150 screens in Karnataka.
