On the happy birthday 26th December actor Chetan of over 30 Kannada films in the last seven years in which 15 films he played negative roles is rechristening his name as RAVI CHETAN and trying his luck again in the cinema field.

The six foot tall handsome built Chetan who is Ravi Chetan here afterwards has recently attended the screen test for ‘3 Idiots’ Hindi film starring Aamir Khan that is under production now. Chetan attended the screen test at Brigade Inn in Bangalore a few days ago and waiting for the nod. He has prepared for this screen test from a few months working in the gym reconstructing his biceps.

Chetan had come to buy new costumes to Vividh in Rajajinagar with his cute son Prathik when he spoke to this journalist.

The reason why senior Chetan is renaming himself is because there is one more Chetan of ‘Aa Dinagalu’ fame and he was waiting for the change in his name like how he is waiting for the luck to turn to his side in the professional career. Initially Chetan thought of keeping his name as ‘Mandakini’ Chetan but lot of opposition came to this name.
