The Karnataka Minister for Cooperation ST Somasekhar graced the audio release event of ‘Chowkabhara’ on Sunday afternoon with guests Dr HS Venkatesha Murthy, Dr BR Lakshman Rao veteran writers, KFCC President Ba Ma Harish, director P Seshadri, Ravikiran, Lahari Velu, Shashidhar Kote, producer Shivakumar and others at the well attended meet.

The Vikram Soori and Namitha Rao production ‘Chowkabhara’ is all set for release and well made songs are the first major attraction of the film.

I am close to the family of Vikram Soori and happy to be part of this event, our government would start the Film City at the earliest, assured the cooperation minister at this event. The minister blessed good success to the team of ‘Chowkabhara’. Somashekhar also remembered his acting days in the films of Dr Ambarish and BC Patil.

This film is based on a Mani R Rao novel. There is love, friendship and bondage in the contents. It is close to the younger generation and I have made this film with my wife Namitha Rao. We have given opportunity to new talents stated Vikram Soori on this occasion.

Before becoming a producer I was a theater artist, dancer and singer and the reason behind introducing new talent is because of the days I have faced in this field mentioned Namitha Rao.

Namitha Rao, Vihan Prabhanjan, Kavya Ramesh, Sujay Hegde, Sanjay Soori, Keerthi Bhanu, Madhu Hegde, Shashidhar Kote, Prathama Prasad, Dr Seetha Kote and others have acted in this film.

Vikram Soori wrote the screenplay and directed this film, Ashwin P Kumar composed music, Dr HSV, BR Lakshman Rao, Vikram Soori and Harish Bhat penned lyrics for this film ‘Chowkabhara’ Kannada film.

Chytra, Vyasaraja Sosale, Siddarth Belmannu, Nakul Abhayankar and Harish Bhat delivered the songs, Raviraj is cinematographer and Shashidhar edited this film.
