The respect and gratitude earned by a challenging star known from this humble appeal. Ever since Darshan appealed to save the animals in nine zoos of Karnataka the donations and move to adopt animals has come and that is unexpected according to Zoo authorities.

The initial response was terrific as Rs.1 crore was collected within one week. Now in a month’s span of time the collections made by different zoos touched Rs.2 crores.

Over 6000 persons adopted different animals and they include people from all occupations, says Zoos of Karnataka authorities.

The Karnataka forest minister Aravind Limbavali thanked the great work done by challenging star Darshan. The forest minister thanked other citizens who came forward to adopt animals.
