Enough is enough of scoring music it seems! After catching hall ticket to write degree examinations and projecting the thought of ‘Desi’ music Hamsalekha has shown great degree of maturity. In the last year monthly program was super hit and he started the High school to teach ‘Desi’ music in 2004 and in 2009 he is ready with Hamsalekha College of Performing Arts and Research Center.

This is the story of recently ‘College Exam Baredhavaru College Madidha Kathe’! The four years Bachelor of Performing Arts of Hamsalekha College is starting the first batch in 2009-2010. The Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa is inaugurating the first batch on 23rd of this month in the presence of bigwigs.

From ‘Prema Loka’ and prior to it the song Neena Bhagavantha…. A curse of almighty that Hamsalekha changed to Neenena Bhagawantha on his comfort zone in Kannada cinema as music director and lyricist has received the prestigious national award for his scoring of Hindustani and Classical music in ‘Ganayogi Panchakshara Gavai’. Hamsalekha has also written a state Anthem for the Kannada filmdom ‘Huttidare Kannada Nadalli Huttabeku….that was sung by Annavru that is a super hit for all time now.

Nearly 400 films and 2000 plus songs Hamsalekha graduation after graduating himself is commendable. For his Performing Arts and Research Center he has got the Dravidian University recognition.

Carnatic, Hindustani, Desi and Western in Music, Classical, Semi classical, Desi in Dance, Indian, Western, Desi and film direction in Drama and Cinematography and Sound Engineering in Technical area are taught. The Talent Entrance Test is starting from 17th of this month. The minimum requirement for coming to TET is II PUC.

We wish Hamsalekha to catch the title of Desi University. DESI according to him is = Dance, Expression, Song and Imagination.
