‘I have always not casted the artists again and again with an exception to Umashri and Harish Raj’ – this is Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli speaking at the 25^th year celebration of multi talented Harish Raj.

That is an indication how the two actors Umashri twice and Harish Raj thrice possess the acting strength and how they can mould – this is what Dr GK explained at the meet at Renukamba Digital theater on Monday night. Dr GK cast Harish Raj in Thai Saheba first and it was a sudden shoot because of Shivaramanna non availability. Harish Raj suited the role so well and I have cast him in ‘Dweepa’ that in fact gave Takkar the national award. The third one was the Godse role he played. Dr GK stated that the journey of Harish Raj should continue further.

In fact the journey of Harish Raj started with ‘Dhoni Sagali’ and Soundarya female lead. He is today an actor not only in Kannada but Malayalam and Tamil languages. He has many records and in one of his films he played 16 roles, he was in Bigg Boss too gaining good popularity.

An audio visual presentation arranged by Kalakaar Harish Raj gave a good recap of his journey. Later he honored Dr Girish Kasaravalli, Suneel Puranik former KCA President, Ba Ma Harish KFCC President and Madhusoodhan.

Suneel Puranik recalled his close friendship with Harish Raj, Ba Ma Harish wished good luck for the future of Harish Raj.

Apparently the wish of Harish Raj at his 25^th year is that he wants to direct a film and have the guts of showing it to internationally acclaimed director Padmasri Dr Girish Kasaravalli.
