HORROR FILM ?NAGAVALLI? THE FIRST COMPLETE SHOCK TREATMENT FILM

At least five times in the cinema hall the audience would feel appall says Kumar the director of ‘Nagavalli’ Kannada film which he has completed after six months research in sixty days shoot.

He is not throwing any challenge like Ram Gopal Verma did for ‘Phoonk’ but it would be horrifying he says with positive attitude. That means the contents in the film would put anyone to hospitals. It would be not those big shocks he says. With one film release ‘Marikannu Horimyage’ and ‘Love Lavike’ in the cold storage Kumar has seen many of the horror films before taking up this film.

Horror film ‘Nagavalli’ is the first complete scary cinema opines director Kumar who is roping in some of the stock shots of actress Kalpana (tragedy queen of Kannada cinema) film. This is not white saree and gejje tied heroine walking alone. It is something different you would see it on screen says confident Kumar.

Keshava Narasimha and Kottagere Chandrasekhar were not happy in the beginning but noticed the first copy hugged Kumar in affection.

Madhushalini a famous dancer, model and actress in Tamil and Telugu films is playing the title role and she is happy with the devil entering her portion of role. Lengthy dialogues also impressed the screen charmer Madhushalini.

Venu says this is a good character role for him while Thriller Manju has composed a stunt and played a guest role in this cinema. Layendra has scored the music.

For the scary moments, sound and special effects censor has passed the film with ‘A’ certificate. The film ‘Nagavalli’ starts from a graveyard scene and ends in the graveyard. One of the scenes the director pointing to ‘This is where actress Kalpana is sleeping’ showing the Samadhi of the actress was asked to cut that director had to oblige.
