NEW EXPERIENCE FROM `SHIVAMANI` FOR MEDIA

Is it possible to get the feel of a forest in the fifth floor of a concrete building? Is it possible to get the sound of trees, animals and birds? Such cozy environ one could find at Gufa Restaurant at the President Hotel in Jayanagar that is the brain child of Pai Group. Even in Pai Vista Mysore such an attempt to give a new ambience is made it is learnt.

Why are we explaining this in a film reporting? It is because the film media had such new experience when they went to Gufa Restaurant on last Saturday afternoon for the media meet addressed by Mr Ajay Pai son of Producer of ‘Shivamani’ Kannada film Mr Jagannath Pai.

Single handedly Ajay Pai gave the glimpse of ‘Shivamani’ the maiden Kannada film from Pai Group. This is for the first time the famous Vachana of Ambigara Chowdaiah is utilized in the film and that is shot in an ancient Shiva temple at Magadi. The scoring made for this Vachana is a mixture of Indian and Western music pattern disclosed Pai.

This is not a mythological film but a pure commercial action cinema he cleared the doubts and said the family members after watching the first print pruned some of the scenes from the point of audience who watch the film in the theatres.

The action scenes are handled by Anal Aras and they are mind blowing to watch says Pai. Sri Venkat and Gowri Venkatesh have done excellent camera work and the film would give a new feel and experience to the audience is the observation of Ajay Pai.

The appreciation Ajay Pai received from veteran artists like Ramesh Bhat, Avinash, Shobaraj and Vinayaprakash after dubbing for their portion made him very confident about the first project. Shobaraj who normally do not dub took initiative for two days to dub for this film informed Pai with a feel of pride.

As of now the re-recording work is in progress for the film ‘Shivamani’ in the craftsmanship of Benny Johson. Audio of ‘Shivamani’ hit the market in the third week of November and the film follows later on in December.

The media besides having a pleasant and unique experience was treated with lovely lunch on that afternoon with chill beer ready available to consume.

Srimurali, Sharmila Mandre, Ramesh Bhat, Vinaya Prakash, Avinash, Shobaraj, Sihikahi Chandru and Besant Ravi are in the cast of ‘Shivamani’.
