The 78 years old Pranayaraja Dr Srinath is in full zoom. Looking fit and fine Dr Srinath announced a start up school ‘Art N U’ a platform that gives the past to the present to hover through the new profession.

Sitting with his wife Smt Geetha Srinath, son and daughter in law Dr Srinath announced that this ‘Art N U’ is catering to various issues connected to cinema, fashion grooming, anchoring and RJ profession.

Art N U is giving coaching in acting, direction, screenwriting, cinema production, technology, voice, make up related issues and a few software techies have joined the team according to Dr Srinath son Rohith and daughter in law Mangala.

I came to the cinema industry 54 years ago. I have worked under fifty directors. The cinema field that I saw was different from today`s picture. The learning is continuous. I have learnt so many things from my mentor Puttanna Kanagal. Of course, we have to adjust to the present. I am still learning. The intention is to teach others as much as possible. Dr Srinath quotes the example of what GV Iyer had told him once. We should advance in thinking he remembered.

Apparently the man with rich experience since 1967 in Kannada filmdom Dr Srinath also a director is taking master classes to the students of ‘Art N U’.

According to Rohith, seven classes such as acting, directing, screenplay, fashion and anchoring start in February. We are in touch with professionals of the respective fields for conducting classes. Call Back is another institution starting along with Art N U he said. We ascertain the interest in depth in the students and groom them precisely, he added.
