At the Santosh theatre complex where Narthaki and Sapna are also situated the 58 feet huge Dr.Rajakumar idol – made in fiber – Dr.Rajakumar statue in white costume with huge garland with one edge having the lighting arrangement of ‘Raj The Showman’ film title was inaugurated by Raghavendra Rajakumar on Thursday afternoon. The kilograms of flower petals were poured on the idol of Dr.Rajakumar from one side of the statue.

This statue is shaped up by eight youths from Mangalore in two months time is special because the right hand of Rajanna is fitted with electronic gadgets. Very frequently the idol waves and cheers up the fans.

The producers Suresh Gowda and Srinivasamurthy plus the director of the film Prem deserves kudos for such a thought. The cost of this huge idol of Dr.Rajakumar is nearly Rs.5 lakhs plus says the PRO of the film Mr Nagendra.

Once the audience watch the film ‘Raj The showman’ and comes out from the theatre they will realize why this statue has been erected says director Prem.

This statue of Dr.Raj is protected and guarded too.
