The eminent cinematographer with many accolades Sathya Hegde gets into the shoes of production. He has set up `Sathya Hegde Studio` and this established cinematographer has produced two short films – The Critic and Puppets!

At a crowded gathering, the two short films were released at SRV Theatre in Malleswaram Bengaluru. Noted director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar and Srinagara Kitty were present at the special occasion of Sathya Hegde.

Another promising cinematographer cum director of `Puppets` and `The Critic` of 10 minutes duration is in the direction of national award winning director Mansore.

This is the new beginning of cinematographer of 26 years Sathya Hegde.

`Puppets` stars Gauthami Jadav, wife of cinematographer and director Abhishek Kasargod – Gauthami is in a stellar role in the very popular mega television serial `Sathya`.

Abhishekh Kasargod (first son of senior journalist Ganesh Kasargod) thanking Sathya Hegde for the opportunity disclosed that he had shown his short film to power star Puneeth Rajakumar and took his signature on the poster of this short film. Midun Mukundan scored music. Abhishekh sought the blessings of everyone for his project.

Gauthami Jadhav`s character in the short film is the one who gets inspiration from a sales girl. Sathya Hegde had given a good platform Gauthami added.

Mansore directed `The Critic` is a revelation indeed for all critics. TS Nagabharana and YG Uma acted in this sensible short film. I was depressed with Sanchari Vijay demise and at that time this short film brought some relief. Basheer has written the story for this short film. Bakesh has done music, Guruprasad is cinematographer and Srinivas is editor for `The Critic`.

Meeting at the Corona Pandemic time has become rare. Many still breathe cinema. I liked both the short films. The shoot at ‘Gnana Pratishtana’ of Anke Gowdru was a good experience for me and I wish both best of luck said national acclaimed director TS Nagabharana.
