THIS IS RAGHANNA `RAAJI`

Dr Rajakumar`s son Raghavendra Rajakumar is in pivotal role in ‘Raaji’. The film supposed to go on floors in the presence of power star Puneeth Rajakumar but sadly going on floor after his demise at Kanteerava studio in Bengaluru where Appu is silently sleeping with his parents.

For ‘Raaji’ the roaring star Srimurali present to sound clap board while Harshika Poonachcha switched on the camera for the muhurut shot. Ra is Raghanna and Ji is Jeevitha his wife in the film make it ‘RAAJI’.

Famous supporting actress Preethi S Babu is director of this film, playing the wife role to Raghanna and co-producer with Basavaraj S Mysuru is producer. It is cinematographer and director PVR Swamy who narrated the script to Raghavendra Rajakumar who finally agreed for the concept ‘Ganda Hendathi in life is Sundara Oppanda’ – that is Raaji.

Appu should have done clap for this film. In his absence, we are starting this film. A woman director for the first time directing me in ‘Raaji’ – a good subject is there. The award for this film will be dedicated to the Appu family = Ashwini, Driti and Vandita who are three children now. Raghanna was emotional in his address when he said all three are my female children today remembering Appu.

This film is based on the concept of Vasumathi Udupa and screenplay is penned by Harish, Upasana Mohan, music director is composing five songs penned by Dr HS Venkateshamurthy.

Nagesh is editor, PVR Swamy is cinematographer, Pratap Simha, Karthik, Chandana and others are in the cast.
