The giant in the field of transport and media Padmasri Dr Vijaya Sankeshwar life sketch ‘Vijayanand’ went on the floors on Sunday at the VRL campus Varur in Hubbali with dignitaries sharing the muhurut platform.

Dream merchant of Kannada cinema V Ravichandran, Golden star Ganesh, Versatile actor Anant Nag, Vinaya Prasad were among the top personalities from cinema industry graced the muhurut.

Golden star Ganesh sounded clap board at 12.45 pm and Dr Vijaya Sankeshwar switched on the camera for VRL Film production. Rishika Sharma heads the megaphone. Nihal Rajput plays the title role while V Ravichandran is in the best friend role as Ganesh Maansha. Anant Nag is in the role of Vijaya Sankeshwar father BG Sankeshwar, another talented actress Vinayaprasad is in the role of Smt Chandramma B Sankeshwar, Dr Vijaya Sankeshwar son Anand Sankeshwar role is donned by Bharat Boopanna.

Pandit Sameeracharya Kantapalli organized formal pooja. Smt Lalitha Sankeshwar, Smt Vani Sankeshwar, Bharathi, Deepa, Gayathri Anant Nag and others took part in the muhurut event.

Addressing the media after the launch Dr Vijaya Sankeshwar mentioned he intends to make multiple language films. I do not keep any target – the Indian culture, heritage with novelty are primarily important, he felt.

There is an abundance of talent in Kannada cinema. Many are not getting the right opportunities. We would like to give a platform under VRL Productions. Even a person from a village should get opportunities. Many of the managers who have not seen Bengaluru are Managers in our VRL Organisation. When I was 17 I decided that I should not continue the profession of my ancestors. I purchased a lorry. I had to receive brickbats. I told the one who discouraged me that I would stand four lorries in front of you and all of them would be my own. Today my Lorries number is 5031. VRL is the biggest logistics company in this country. I am happy for such growth.

Dr Vijay Sankeshwar further stated that one should not compare with anyone. Instead of competition we should achieve what we have thought and work with dedication and discipline. The place we work should be felt as his own. In life, we should not have the line of retirement. In the cinema field too VRL would strive for quality films pointed out the legend Dr Vijaya Sankeshwar.

Anand Sankeshwar, managing director of VRL Group, said discipline and hard work is the route to success. Not giving up in life my father continued and reached this stage. He is always my role model and guide. Transport industry in India is 85 percent unorganized. VRL group inculcated discipline and honesty  with employees and that has led to a top spot. My father Dr Vijaya Sankeshwar is receiving Padmasri honor on November 8 and VRL would make more films with quality and inspire the young generation stated Anand Sankeshwar.
