Technical excellence is the redeeming feature of this film. The sets, cinematography, music, 3D effects, visual effects, lavish spending producers departments have made a bigger contribution in this action revenge saga ‘Vikrant Rona’ – there is father and daughter sentiment, innocence of village people – Abhinaya Chakravarthy in his avatar as ‘Gumma’, alias Vikrant Rona roars to the best and his knack of underplaying the situation is simply superb.

The strongest feeling after watching this ‘Vikrant Rona’ is that director Anoop Bhandari has not come out from the hangover of ‘Rangi Taranga’. The background, especially dark sets, the fear factors, Bootha Kola, Kamarottu location etc follow in this ‘Vikrant Rona’. The additional factors of 3D technology lift the standard of the film.

The first half is easy going with not much development except the protagonist saying ‘Gara Gara Gaggara….dialogue and making the audience calculations go wrong in the second half. For the entire shady developments one gets the feeling that Vikrant Rona is responsible at this moment. What you see is different compared to what has happened – ‘Jo Diktha Hai Hota Nahin, Jo Hota hai Diktha Nanin’!

The snake and ladder further switch to different directions and Vikrant Rona investigations take the audience for a surprise. This in fact dates back to the 28 years old mistaken identity and missing persons. This flashback and coming back to the present give a testing time for the brains. Of course the audiences have to cautiously watch the second half of the film.

The final countdown Maramari is spine chilling. Vikrant Rona takes on three pouncing on him. The action extravaganza is the biggest of the three in this film.

Sudeep has made a clever selection of the role. Except for romance with the heroine, he has everything. There are extremely good takings in the camera of his acting potentiality.

Nirup Bhandari has a surprise with two shades for him, Nitha Ashok has a fine beginning in the tinsel town, Madhusoodhan, Ravishanker Gowda, Siddu Moolimani have given a neat performance. The daughter of Vikrant Rona in this is very sweet. The lullaby song is also a treat for everyone.

Jacqueline Fernandez song ‘Ra Ra Rakkamma….has already given good placement and she has a very few scenes in the film.

William David cinematography captured brilliantly, art director Shivakumar gives a bombastic feel from his work, Ajanish Lokanath music scores are on top gear – the background score is simply spectacular.

‘Vikrant Rona’ is an intelligent woven story and has many top class moments to watch on the big screen.
