The beauty with brain Vishaka Singh ancestors are from the royal family of Prithiviraj Chauhan. She feels happy for making it to Kannada. With two Hindi films and one Tamil film this Rajput community girl from Uttar Pradesh is a graduate in Advertisement and Publicity. She knows how to take care of her film publicity. She had prepared the press note for her first Hindi film ‘Hamse Jahan’ and felt happy because the media published it verbatim. She even remembers the report of her appearing in the 37th page of August 2008 issue of Film Fare issue. She has also acted in another Hindi film ‘Coffee Shop’ with Gnanapeeth award winning Girish Karnad.

After explaining that she is not related to Navjoth Singh Sidhu who is making a guest appearance in ‘House Full’ the debut of Vishaka Singh – she said she is from the royal family of Prithvi Raj Chauhan whose genesis dates back to 900 years ago.

The fifth one in the family Vishaka is the lucky girl in the family. For any good work she has to be there in the family and she is a symbol of goodness. She is the 5th in the family, born in the 5th month and 5 hours.

This is what she says in a nutshell – Sheer boredom with her job in an ad agency led Vishaka Singh to Mumbai to pursue her dreams in acting. What followed was a few of south films including ‘Pidichirrku’ (Tamil) and Gnapakam (Telugu) and ‘House Full’ (Kannada). She may have missed out on Swadesh, Chak De India and Contract for various reasons but she will be seen in two Hindi films Do Aur Do Panch and Coffee Shop. This time she’s making sure she’s staying right on that bus.
